Online renewal (adults)

Children's passports
Valid for 5 years (under 16). Same photo requirements apply. Paper countersignature may be needed for first passports.
UK passport photos must be 35×45mm with a plain cream or white background. The head height (chin to crown) must be between 29 and 34mm. Your expression must be neutral — a slight natural smile has been permitted since 2022. Eyes must be open and clearly visible, looking directly at the camera. The photo must be taken within the last 1 month. Glasses are not permitted.
